1 WEEK

One week in and Baby X's dad & I still can't believe we're parents.  When does the reality set in?

I never thought I was the mothering type, but here I am, constantly gushing over, and snapping pictures of this little human I helped create.

The first 24 hrs were brutal, but now waking up every 2 hrs doesn't even seem so bad.  Baby X's dad and I have gotten used to the exhaustion, and other than the redundancy of our days and lack of sleep, not much has changed, other than the amount of target runs Baby X's dad has had to make...man, kids really are expensive.

On Monday we took Baby X to his first pediatrician appointment.  He did really well and to top it off Baby X gained 5oz, yay!  Baby is off to a great start. 

Yesterday we took Baby X for his first walk and I finally got to use the stroller we got him. It took me forever to decide on which stroller to get.  I don't know how many times I watched the Baby Gizmo YouTube reviews before I finally decided on the Stokke Scoot v2.  I love it.  It's so smooth & the design is so chic.  Definitely a good choice.

I can't believe a week has gone by already.  Time goes by so fast once you hit adulthood.  All you wanted to do when you were younger was grow up, and once you're grown you just want to be young again.  I hope Baby X doesn't grow up too fast.  Happy 1 week baby!  Xoxo
