Babies and booze

I just love alliterations.

So, apparently my priorities are: first party and then blog. The past couple of weekends have been heavy on the hangovers...which I don't miss, and because of it, X's memory keeper (the blog) has suffered. I remember the days when a night of drinking didn't mean an entire day of nursing a hangover. God, I miss my 20's.  Don't judge me.  It's not like I kept my party girl ways a secret from everyone.  If you know me then you know I like to have fun...sometimes a little too much fun.  After 9 months of DD'ing I'm allowed to get a little tipsy.  It's not like I'm chauffeuring X around while I'm drunk.  That's just bad parenting. 

So like I said...I've been a little occupied, and admittedly, I just kind of forgot the time had passed.  I mean, yes, time has passed, but after the second month I just totally dropped the ball.  Whoops.

So much has happened in the...what...two weeks since I've posted.  Actually I'm fibbing. Nothing notable has happened other than his hand and mouth meeting finally.  This kid is going to be a thumb sucker, I know it.  He has this thing with his left hand.  He just sucks away, and it's the cutest, albeit grossest (I hate slobber, even that of my own baby) thing ever.  Other than that nada.  OMG WAIT!  There was something!  See what alcohol does to your brain!!  He rolled on to his side!  I know I mentioned him doing this before, but it was always on a mattress so it didn't really count because its kind of soft and springy and...yeah.  Well this time he did it on the floor and I almost thought he was going to actually roll over, but he just couldn't get the other side to go.  It was amazing.  Just kidding. It was a cool experience, but it's not like he took a step or anything.  So yeah.  That was the main event of X's milestones in the past two weeks.  Uneventful...kind of like the Pacquiao vs. Mayweather fight. 

Until next week kiddos.  A DVR'd episode of Shahs of Sunset awaits me.  X is sleeping.  X's daddy is snoring away.  Finally a little alone time to partake in guilty pleasures while I pump.  #lifeofanewmom #ihatepumping
