HOME!

We made it back from San Diego in one piece and still sane!  Yay!  I had intended to update nightly while we were there, but yeah...I was way too exhausted at the end of each day.  Also, my plans for getting drunk by the pool fizzled and I only managed to be teased by a couple of shots and a few drinks throughout the day.  Where's the fun in that?  I wanted to get wasted.  I wanted to veg out.  Oh well.  There's always next time, I guess.  Man, I really sound like a lush don't I?  X, alcohol does not rule my world, I just really like to have fun with it...RESPONSIBLY!  You can too once you're 30 (a winky eye emoji would be great right here).  

So X took on SD.  He slept through most of the activities he should have been awake for, but I guess I would have too had I been given the opportunity.  Being a baby is tough business, but being a mom is even tougher.  I'm not sure what adventure we'll be taking on next, but I know there's a Japan trip in  our sort-of-near future so that should be interesting.  It is definitely good to be home; now I need a vacation from my "vacation".  I really miss traveling.  I'd love to be able to just jet set from country to country, X in tow.  Welp,  a date with my pillow awaits.  Oh how I miss the days of 8+ hours of continuous sleep.
